Establish a buddy system for all participants.
Designate a specific meeting point within
the park with times as appropriate. If
possible, have a place where one group
leader will be available at all times.
Let all participants know that if they
are lost or hurt that they need to notify
the nearest staff member who will respond.
Determine the abilities of all swimmers,
and set appropriate guidelines- lifejackets,
restrictions for slides etc.
Remind group members to bring:

- Swimwear
- Cover-ups
- Sunscreen
- Towels
- Water/juice in non-glass containers
- Locker and lunch money |
Obey all rules posted throughout the park
or as informed by lifeguards and park
staff.
